After a weekend in horse racing affected by weather conditions coast to coast, the activity picks back up to a large extent on the upcoming extended holiday weekend, with Fair Grounds hosting a Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve prep race on Saturday, Jan. 18, and several other tracks re-opening.
The Lecomte Stakes and other races from a stakes-packed Saturday card at Fair Grounds will air on FanDuel TV. That network will also show live racing from Santa Anita Park, which reopens after serving as a relief center for people affected by wildfires in greater Los Angeles.
Action from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park (which was closed last weekend) will be broadcast on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” from Friday, Jan. 17, through Monday, Jan. 20, the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The show airs on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
