The road to the 2024 Breeders’ Cup World Championships is in full swing as we head into mid-September, and the focus this upcoming weekend is on Woodbine as the Toronto-area track hosts three “Win and You’re In” qualifying races Saturday, Sept. 14. The Rogers Woodbine Mile Stakes offers a fees-paid berth to the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Mile Presented by PDJF, while the bet365.com Summer Stakes and the Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes offer starting-gate spots in the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, respectively.

Those races plus the rest of Woodbine’s stakes-rich Saturday card will be showcased on FanDuel TV. That network is also the go-to destination for races at Kentucky Downs, which holds the closing card of its brief meet Wednesday, Sept. 11, and then at Churchill Downs, which kicks off its two-week September meet Thursday, Sept. 12. On Saturday, Churchill runs the Iroquois Stakes and the Pocahontas Stakes for 2-year-olds. Those races are the first to offer qualifying points for the 2025 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve and the Longines Kentucky Oaks, respectively.

NYRA-produced “America’s Day at the Races” returns to provide live broadcasts of races at the Belmont at the Big A meet (held at Aqueduct this fall), which begins Friday, Sept. 13. The show will air on FS2 and FS1 from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 16 – see the below guide for channels and times. Live coverage of Irish Champions Weekend at Leopardstown and The Curragh racecourses in Ireland will also air on FS2 Saturday and Sunday, featuring at total of five Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” races.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

For livestream coverage of a huge horse racing day north of the border, America’s Best Racing will produce “Turf Champions Day LIVE!” on-site from Woodbine Saturday, covering the three Breeders’ Cup prep races plus the E. P. Taylor Stakes. The show will have two segments with starts times of 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET and will be hosted by ABR’s Dan Tordjman along with horseplayers J.D. Fox and Alexa Zepp. It airs on ABR’s Facebook, X, and YouTube (second show link) channels.
