The Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4, kicks off an active four-day stretch for TV coverage of horse racing, as the Belmont at the Big A meet winds down in New York and racing in Kentucky shifts to Ellis Park in the western part of the commonwealth.

Action from Belmont at the Big A and Monmouth Park will be televised on the final programs of NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” this summer before that broadcast team prepares for an extended run of “Saratoga Live” starting on July 11. “America’s Day at the Races” airs from Thursday to Sunday, July 7 on FOX Sports channels and will also feature a show covering harness racing at The Meadowlands on Saturday, July 6 – check the below schedule for channels and times.

Ellis Park begins its summer meet on July 4 and will conduct live racing during the four-day stretch ending on Sunday. FanDuel TV is the go-to network for coverage at “the Pea Patch” along with tracks such as Woodbine, Gulfstream Park, and Los Alamitos.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
