Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes presented by 1/ST BET winner Life Is Good remained tied atop the latest Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings along with Australia-based star sprinter Nature Strip, while recent Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve longshot winner Rich Strike made his first appearance in the rankings.

Life Is Good, who won the Pegasus Jan. 29 and subsequently finished fourth Dubai World Cup Sponsored By Emirates Airline, shares the top rating of 124 along with Nature Strip for the ratings for 3-year-olds and older that raced between Jan. 1 and May 8, 2022.

U.S.-based Speaker’s Corner, a Street Sense colt trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott, is 3-for-3 in 2022 and checked in next with a 123 rating. He has recorded clear wins in the Fred W. Hooper Stakes presented by Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa, WinStar Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes, and Grade 1 Carter Handicap this year.

Hong Kong-based standout miler Golden Sixty is fourth in the World’s Best Racehorse rankings with a 122, followed by a group of five horses tied with a 121 rating that includes U.S.-based turf sprinter Golden Pal, Dubai World Cup winner Country Grammer, and last year’s Eclipse Award-winning sprinter Jackie’s Warrior.

After a group of five international runners tied for 10^th with a 120 rating, recent Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike was part of a group of seven racehorses tied for 15^th with a 119 rating that also included last year’s Kentucky Derby winner Mandaloun and last year’s Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Yibir. Mandaloun won the Grade 3 Louisiana Stakes in January, while Yibir finished second in the Longines Dubai Sheema Classic in March.
