V V's Dream won her career debut at first asking in a 2-year-old maiden race at Churchill Downs on May 19, 2023. She entered stakes competition in her second lifetime start and finished second in the Debutante Stakes at Ellis Park on July 2.
V V's Dream scored her first career stakes win in her third start, which came in the Grade 3 $300,000 Pocahontas Stakes going one mile on Sept. 16. Sent off as the 6-5 favorite on the tote board in a six-horse field, V V's Dream stalked the pace and then accelerated to the lead in the stretch to destroy the field by 8 3/4 lengths.
