Muhimma began her career as a 2-year-old and was an immediate smash hit. She won her maiden race at first asking in a 6 1/2-furlong sprint at Churchill Downs on Sept. 20, 2024, and then won again in her second outing with a 5 1/2-length allowance score going seven furlongs at Churchill Downs on Nov. 1.
The next assignment for Muhimma was stakes competition, and she was up to the task when winning by a length in wire-to-wire fashion as the 2-5 favorite atop a 10-horse field in the Grade 2 $250,000 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct on Dec. 7.
