After finishing second in his debut at Gulfstream Park on Jan. 7, Big Invasion reeled off five wins in a row through midsummer 2022 to emerge as one of the top turf sprinters in North America. The Christophe Clement trainee romped in his second start, winning by 4 ¼ lengths in a five-furlong grass sprint at Gulfstream, and then moved up to stakes company on March 26 at the Hallandale Beach, Fla., track.

The Christophe Clement trainee romped in his second start, winning by 4 ¼ lengths in a five-furlong grass sprint at Gulfstream, and then moved up to stakes company on March 26 at the Hallandale Beach, Fla., track.
He won the listed Texas Glitter Stakes at Gulfstream by three lengths and then resurfaced at Churchill Downs in early May, taking the listed William Walker Stakes by two lengths. Clement then shipped Big Invasion to Belmont Park for the May 29 Paradise Creek Stakes, and the Declaration of War colt once again prevailed in dominant fashion, winning by 3 ¼ lengths.
Big Invasion made his graded stakes debut in the Grade 3 Quick Call Stakes Presented by the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation on July 17 at Saratoga. He rallied from off of the pace to take the 5 ½-furlong turf sprint by a widening 2 ¾ lengths under Joel Rosario.
Owned by Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, Big Invasion is out of the winning Curlin mare Curls in Place and is a half-brother to two stakes-placed winners.
