The Road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve heads south this Saturday to Tampa Bay Downs, which hosts the $400,000, Grade 2 Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby.
In the days leading up to the 77th Santa Anita Handicap, the race seemed to generate a throwback feel well before the horses even stepped onto the track.
Gulfstream Park’s feature race this Saturday is the $415,000, Grade 2 Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes. Some of the top 3-year-olds in the country will do battle in this 1 1/16-mile contest.
