Anita Cauley

Ornate and her daughters form the core of Cauley's
small Kentucky-based stable. Cauley has been involved in racing for
more than 20 years. She is a member of First Lady of Kentucky Jane
Beshear's "Pink Team" and Horses and Hope Foundation, which raises
funds and brings awareness and education within the horse industry
in the fight against breast cancer. Ornate, a daughter of Gilded
Time, was a successful runner for Cauley in 29 starts from 2000 to
2002. She has gone on to be a great broodmare, dropping three
stakes-winning fillies, High Heels, French Kiss and On Fire Baby.
More runners are on the way: Ornate has a 2-year-old full sister to
High Heels, a yearling Tiznow colt and Lemon Drop Kid filly foaled
in 2012; High Heels has a 2-year-old Tapit filly, a yearling
Distorted Humor colt and was bred to Giant's Causeway in 2011;
French Kiss was bred to Bluegrass Cat in 2011.
