A filly who could finish no better than third in three attempts at breaking her maiden in Ireland, Clenor blossomed when she moved to California. She broke her maiden by 2 1/2 lengths in her first start in the United States before winning two consecutive stakes for new trainer Doug O'Neill.
Clenor is a half sister to two stakes horses and come from the family of multiple stakes winners, including Grade 1 American Oaks winner Cambina.
