Solo Album

Solo Album was winless in her first five career starts at Ellis Park, Woodbine, and Gulfstream Park racing as a 2-year-old in 2022 and as a 3-year-old in 2023, but then experienced a breakthrough when back on the synthetic surface at Woodbine on May 12, 2023 when she won a maiden route race at 1 1/16 miles by three lengths for her first career victory. 

Solo Album entered her first stakes race in her subsequent start on July 1 in the Grade 3 $150,000 Selene Stakes back at the 1 1/16-mile distance on the synthetic surface at Woodbine. Sent off at 9-1 odds on the tote board in a field of nine 3-year-old fillies in the Selene, Solo Album stalked the pace and made a big sweeping move on the turn to blow by the field. She extended to score a 6 1/4-length win on the wire in a time of 1:42.65.

Solo Album is trained by Mark Casse. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Curlin out of the mare Summer Solo by Arch.
