Jessica is from Western Wisconsin and 2023 is be her first year at the Thoroughbred Makeover. She grew up with horses, and later attended graduate school at the Maxwell H. Gluck Equine Research Center, while simultaneously working as a groom at Airdrie Stud. There, she developed a love of Thoroughbreds.

Now it is her hope that by participating in the Makeover with her gelding, Dom, they will be able to show how OTTBs can have successful second careers, make great partners for people in the Upper Midwest, and be able educate others about the retraining process.
