After a dramatic come-from-behind maiden win at Aqueduct in November of 2021, Sterling Silver made her stakes debut in the Franklin Square Stakes on January 22, 2022. She rated off the pace and drew away to win by 2 1/4 lengths under Trevor McCarthy.
This New York-bred filly made her next two starts against open 3-year-old filly stakes company, but was unplaced in both tries. She stepped back down to state-bred horses in the Bouwerie Stakes at Belmont Park on May 30. She rated off the pace and won going away.
