Little Vic

Little Vic won his career debut by 3 ½ lengths while leading from start to finish Sept. 4, 2021, at Gulfstream Park. After a runner-up finish in an allowance-optional claiming race, the Practical Joke colt faded from second in the stretch to finish seventh the Grade 3 Sam F. Davis Stakes in his first career try against stakes competition.

Well-beaten in his next start at 1 1/8 miles back at Gulfstream Park, Little Vic subsequently was returned to sprint distances and found his groove. He won a three-quarter-mile allowance race at Monmouth Park by 5 ½ length in May 2022, added another allowance win in October at Delaware Park, and then earned a breakthrough stakes win by 1 ½ lengths in the City of Laurel Stakes Nov. 26, 2022. He closed out his 3-year-old season with a runner-up finish by a nose in the Gravesend Stakes in December at Aqueduct.

Little Vic returned to graded stakes competition for his 4-year-old bow and ran second to Repo Rocks in the Grade 3 Toboggan Stakes. Next up was the Grade 3 Tom Fool Handicap March 4, 2023, at Aqueduct, where Little Vic seized command in early stretch and shook clear to prevail in 1:09.73 for three-quarters of a mile.

Multiple stakes winner Rock and Glory, by Rock Hard Ten, is the dam (mother) of Little Vic.
