Orglandes, a French-bred daughter of Le Havre, made her first seven starts in her native country, winning twice and finishing second twice and third twice. She was shipped to the U.S. in 2020 and finished third in her debut Sept. 6 on turf a Monmouth Park before winning a 1 1/8-mile allowance optional claiming race at Belmont Park by 2 ¾ lengths on Oct. 9.

Trainer Chad Brown then sent her across the country for a stakes debut in the Nov. 26 Red Carpet Handicap at Del Mar. With Irad Ortiz Jr. in the irons, the filly rallied at the top of the stretch and angled out from an inside position to win by a half-length.
Owned by Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables and Wonder Stables, Orglandes is out of the winning Dansili mare Influence and is from the family of French Group 1 winner Special Quest and French Group 2 winner Moiava.
