Mohawk Trail

Mohawk Trail made her career debut in a 2-year-old maiden race at Gulfstream Park on Nov. 11, 2022, and won her maiden in her second start in a one-mile turf race at Gulfstream on Dec. 4, 2022.

Mohawk Trail began her 3-year-old season in Florida and won an allowance race at Tampa Bay Downs in her second start of 2023 on Feb. 10. She later recorded her first stakes win of her career in the $100,000 Alywow Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Woodbine on June 25.

Mohawk Trail subsequently scored her first career graded stakes victory in her next start, which came in the $150,000 Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes for 3-year-olds going one mile on the turf. Mohawk Trail came from the rear of the field to split horses in deep stretch and caught the clear leader to draw off to a 1 1/2-length victory in a time of 1:34.68 over turf rated good.

Mohawk Trail is trained by Kelsey Danner. She was bred in Florida by the sire Pioneerof the Nile out of the mare Iroquois Girl by Indian Charlie.
