Faith in Humanity (FR)

Faith in Humanity won her career debut on Monmouth Park’s turf course by 1 ¼ lengths on July 24, 2022. She was elevated to stakes company by Chad Brown for a try in the listed Riskaverse Stakes at Saratoga for her second start and ran a good second at 19.70-1 odds behind winning stablemate Gina Romantica on Aug. 25.

In her next start, Faith in Humanity controlled the pace under jockey Manny Franco and turned the tables on Gina Romantica, defeating her by a half-length in the Grade 3 Pebbles Stakes at the Belmont at the Big A meet on Sept. 18.

Faith in Humanity was given the rest of 2022 off and returned to the races to make her 4-year-old debut on March 4, 2023, in the Grade 3 $150,000 Honey Fox Stakes at Gulfstream Park at a mile on the grass. In the Honey Fox, Faith in Humanity went straight to the front from the rail post as the 5-1 third choice in a field of 11 fillies and mares, and she could not be caught, going wire-to-wire to win by a neck in a time of 1:34.12.

Bred in France, Faith in Humanity is owned by Seth Klarman’s Klaravich Stables. The Lope de Vega filly is out of the Fastnet Rock mare Sharavana, who is a half-sister to French Group 1 winner Indonesienne.
