Eternal Hope won her maiden race in the second race of her career as a 3-year-old in a 1 1/4-mile race on an all-weather surface at Chelmsford, England on Feb. 25, 2023. She then won again in her next start again on an all-weather track, this time going 1 1/2 miles at Lingfield on May 13. Eternal Hope was then switched to the turf and recorded a a third-place finish on soft ground in the Group 2 Prix Alex Head going 1 1/4 miles on Aug. 20 at Deauville in France

Eternal Hope was sent to the United States for her nest start, which came at the Belmont at the Big A meet at Aqueduct in the Grade 3 $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Jockey Club Oaks Invitational going 1 3/8 miles on the grass on Sept. 16. Sent off as the even-money favorite in the field of seven in the Jockey Club Oaks, Eternal Hope made a last-to-first rally and gt up to win by a neck.
Eternal Hope is trained by Charlie Appleby for Godolphin. She was bred in Ireland by the sire Teofilo out of the mare Voice of Truth by Dubawi.
