Bluebirds Over began his career with a win at first asking in a 2-year-old maiden race at Gulfstream Park on Nov. 5, 2022. Following that win he made the long trip northward to Canada for his second start, which came in the Grade 3 $150,000 Grey Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the synthetic track. Bluebirds Over pressed the pace most of the way in the Grey, challenged the leader at the top of the stretch, and drew clear to win by 1 1/2 lengths in a field of six. He ran the 1 1/16-mile distance in a winning time of 1:45.32 and paid $7.20 to win.
